MISTIC Project Annual Meeting

The MISTIC project (Crop Microbiomes and Information and Communication Technologies) under the PEPR AgroEcoNum programme held its annual scientific meeting on 28 and 29 April at the Sophia Agrobiotech Institute and the Inria Centre at the Université Côte d’Azur.

Young scientists undertaking master’s internships, PhDs or postdoctoral research were in the spotlight, giving presentations on how plant microbiomes contribute to crop health and their adaptation to environmental stresses.

The following research topics were presented:

  • Using metabolomics to improve metabolic models;
  • Spatialisation of ecological models at a national scale using probabilistic methods;
  • Modelling of microbial metabolic fluxes based on multi-omic time-series data;
  • Formalisation of dimensionality reduction for time series;
  • Scaling up to soil metagenomics in vineyards.
